1. Who we are

Ayo Interactive ("Ayo Interactive", "Ayo Pixels", "we", "us" or "our") is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@ayopixels.com.

2. Scope and the website policy

The Ayo Pixels website is governed by the Ayo Pixels Website Privacy Policy. That policy applies to general website browsing, website cookies, contact emails and other company-level interactions.

This Duel Breaker Privacy Policy applies where information is processed through Duel Breaker, its player accounts or its associated online services.

3. Accounts and authentication

Duel Breaker creates an anonymous player account so that the game can provide online features and preserve progress. An anonymous account is associated with authentication and player identifiers but not an email address.

You may optionally link an email address. We use one-time codes to link an email, sign in to a linked account, change account access, return a linked account to guest status, and verify destructive actions. We also send security and account-lifecycle notices when appropriate. We do not use these authentication addresses for marketing without separate permission.

Returning to guest status removes the email link and replaces the linked authentication identity with an anonymous identity while preserving the player account and its game data. It is not account deletion.

4. Information we process

We may process:

  • authentication identifiers, internal player identifiers, public player codes, linked and recently replaced email addresses, account status, and account timestamps;
  • profile information such as display name, profile icon and border;
  • settings, selected wardens and cosmetic loadouts;
  • progression, ranks, seasonal state, missions, rewards, entitlements, inventory and virtual-currency balances and transactions;
  • matchmaking tickets, queue information, server region, game-session identifiers and connection information;
  • match participation, opponents, outcomes, rewards, ranking changes and leaderboard information;
  • IP address, game version, platform or device category, request timestamps, server events and diagnostic logs; and
  • rate-limit, authentication, integrity, fraud, security and abuse-prevention information.

We do not claim to collect advertising identifiers, contacts, precise location, microphone content or unrelated device files unless a future version of the game introduces that processing and this policy is updated first.

5. How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate accounts; save profiles, settings, loadouts and progression; provide inventory, currencies, missions and rewards; operate matchmaking and multiplayer sessions; calculate results, ranks and leaderboards; provide support; diagnose faults; secure the service; prevent cheating, fraud and abuse; comply with law; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Depending on the purpose and applicable law, processing is necessary to provide the service you request, comply with law, support our legitimate interests in operating a safe and reliable game, or is based on consent where consent is required.

6. Information visible to other players

Your display name, public player code, selected profile presentation, match presence, rank and leaderboard placement may be shown to opponents or other players. Email addresses, authentication credentials and internal account identifiers are not intended to be public.

7. Service providers and disclosures

We use providers for categories of services including authentication, databases, cloud hosting, dedicated game servers, network delivery, protected backups, security monitoring and transactional email. These providers may process information on our behalf under contractual and security safeguards.

We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect players, protect the service, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. International transfers

Our providers and team may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on an available lawful transfer mechanism and apply appropriate safeguards.

9. Retention

Our automated retention period for personal data, including active-system records, logs and protected backups, is no more than six weeks. Different records may be removed sooner when no longer needed.

Information may be preserved beyond its normal deletion point when it has already been isolated for a specific legal obligation, security investigation, fraud-prevention matter, dispute, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Information already deleted under our normal processes cannot be recovered for a later request or legal process. Irreversibly anonymised information is no longer personal data and may be retained.

10. Account and data deletion

You may request account deletion through Duel Breaker by opening Profile → Destructive Actions → Delete Account. A linked-account holder may also use the website account-deletion page. Anonymous accounts must be deleted in the game because the website cannot identify the anonymous credentials stored by the game.

We require authentication and a one-time code before accepting a linked-account deletion request. Most verified deletion requests proceed immediately and do not have a general cancellation or cooling-off period.

If the linked email address was changed during the preceding 24 hours, a special security hold applies. The deletion is scheduled for 24 hours after the verified request. Notices are sent to both the current and previous email addresses and identify the scheduled time. The previous address receives a single-use contest link that expires when the hold ends. Following an explicit confirmation, a valid contest cancels the deletion and flags the account for ownership review.

If no valid contest is received before the hold expires, deletion proceeds. This hold exists only for accounts whose email was changed recently.

Anonymous accounts have no email address for deletion warnings. The game therefore displays a warning before deletion, and the account may not be recoverable afterward. Uninstalling Duel Breaker or clearing local application data does not delete its associated account.

After deletion begins, we delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data from active systems, subject to the limited preservation described in the Retention section. Residual copies disappear as protected backups are overwritten within the six-week maximum retention period.

11. Email changes and security notices

When an email address changes, we temporarily retain the previous address to operate the 24-hour protection window. If a destructive action is requested during that window, notices go to both addresses. One-time codes and contest links are time-limited and must not be shared.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live.

Use the in-game controls, the account-deletion page, or email privacy@ayopixels.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

13. Age requirement

Duel Breaker is not intended for children under 13. You must also meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you believe a child has used the service contrary to this requirement, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game, online services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when the current version was last updated.
